Ripe, supple and inviting, the 2018 is a total knock out. Sweet dark cherry, new leather, licorice and chocolate all build in the glass. In 2018, Clos Badon is 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc. More Franc than normal gives the wine gorgeous aromatic nuance and also a bit more tannin that needs to soften. There is a lot to look forward to. Antonio Galloni.
