★The 2018 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is 100% de-stemmed and raised in one-third new oak. It has an expressive, very floral bouquet, with iris and violet aromas infusing the red cherry and strawberry fruit and gaining intensity with aeration. The elegant, harmonious palate is well balanced, precise and very persistent, a touch of spice lengthening the finish. Superb.
